The Durham CYAC is able to support children, youth, and their non-offending caregivers because of our outstanding volunteers. If you have a passion for helping families through difficult times, we'd love to hear from you.
We offer several volunteer roles to match different skills, schedules, and interests. All roles require a commitment to confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine desire to support children and families impacted by abuse.
Support children, youth, and families referred to the CYAC with information, resources, and emotional support throughout the process.
